Truffle Basa Fillets
Basa fillets, by flavor and texture, a sort of cross between a catfish and tilapia. In fact, they are a type of catfish, but you won't get the strong catfish flavor. Truffles are of the fungus family, well known for their strong, earthy flavor. They are an expensive delicacy, but you only need a small bit for this dish. Time to treat yourself!

Ingredients
- 2 8-ounce basa filets
- 1 jalapeno pepper, shredded
- 1/4 ounce black truffles, shredded
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Directions
- Heat a saute pan to medium-low heat.
- Add butter.
- Season basa filets with salt and pepper and add to the pan. Cover.
- Cook about 6-8 minutes, then flip. Cover.
- Cook another 4 minutes or until basa filets are cooked through.
- Transfer to serving plates.
- Top each with lemon juice, jalapeno peppers and truffles.
- Serve.
