Tilapia Tacos
Tacos is a perfect recipe for the naturally low calorie Tilapia, bringing a nice Mexican flavor. The white fish absorbs the chili spices nicely, and you'll love it.
Ingredients
- 6-8 oz Tilapia
- 6 oz refried beans
- 1 fresh tomato
- Jalapeno slices
- 1/4 cup taco seasoning
- Shredded Cheese
- Hot sauce to taste
- Sour cream
- 6 soft corn tortilla shells
- Oil spray
Cooking Directions
- Lightly spray a medium sized frying pan with oil.
- Cook tilapia over medium heat 7-8 minutes or until cooked through.
- Add 1/4 cup water and taco seasoning.
- Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, heat refried beans in microwave for 1-2 minutes.
- Heat tortillas 1 minute each side in a small flat pan.
- Serve each taco with 1 oz tilapia, 1 oz refried beans.
- Garnish with cheese, tomato, jalapeno, sour cream and hot sauce.
