Honey Grilled Prawns

Grilled prawns have the perfect consistency for seafood, yielding to the palate yet firm. We bring some sweet honey flavor to this simple grilled dish, and serve it with our spicy habanero chili sauce for some kick.

Honey Grilled Prawns

Ingredients

  • 1 pound prawns (about 8), peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, honey and seasoned salt.
  • Add prawns and mix to coat well.
  • Refrigerate to marinade about 1 hour minimum and up to 4 hours.
  • Preheat grill to medium heat.
  • Grill prawns about 4 minutes, then flip and brush with some of the marinade.
  • Grill another 2 minutes, or until prawns are thoroughly cooked through.
  • Serve with your favorite sauce!

NOTE: We served our grilled prawns with our Habanero Chili Sauce Recipe.
