Seared Salmon with Ginger and White Wine
This is a delicious pizza recipe that you won't find anywhere else! Who'd have thought you could place salmon on pizza! We added in a jalapeno pepper because we LOVE our food spicy, but you can easily substitute in some milder red or green bell pepper, or omit it altogether.

A very quick and easy way to serve salmon. Searing it first seals in the flavor and moisture.
Ingredients
- 2 6-ounce salmon fillets
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1/2 cup white cooking wine
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
Cooking Directions
- Heat a sauté pan to high heat and add olive oil.
- Season salmon fillets with 1 teaspoon ground ginger each.
- When pan is hot, add salmon fillets and sear each side, about 30 seconds each.
- Add wine and reduce heat to low, then simmer about 6-8 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and pink. Flip once throughout. Most of the white wine should boil away.
- Serve!
