Simple Salmon Patties
Salmon patties are great, like little burgers made up of salmon and seasonings. They're typically served on buns or by themselves as an appetizer. Salmon patties are also very budget friendly. Canned salmon makes for great patties.
Ingredients
- 1 can salmon, undrained and flaked (15 ounces)
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 medium garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 3 tablespoons bell pepper, minced
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
Cooking Directions
- In a mixing bowl, combine salmon, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, dill, bell pepper, flour, egg, salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Form into 8 patties about 1/2 inch thick each.
- Heat large skillet to mediu high heat and add oil.
- Cook patties until evenly browned on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Serve!
