Lobster Recipes Steamed Lobster Tails

Steaming is a great way to serve up lobster tails. Both quick and easy. Here's a basic way to steam them. Feel free to vary up the seasoning used to flavor the lobster meat. Traditionally served with butter, but again, feel free to experiment with new sauces as we like to do.

Ingredients

  • 4 (6 ounce) lobster tails
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Cooking Directions

  1. To a large pot, add 1 inch of water. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add salt and add steamer to pot above water level.
  3. Place lobster on steam rack and cover pot.
  4. Steam for 8 minutes.
  5. Serve with melted butter.
