Halibut Filets with Lemon-Creole Sauce

You're sure to enjoy this meaty yet flakey fish, especially topped with our very light Lemon-Creole Sauce, which is low calorie and very easy to make. Serve with a side of vegetables for a healthy and well-rounded meal.

Halibut Filets with Lemon-Creole Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 6-ounce halibut filets
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Creole seasoning

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat a frying pan to medium heat and add halibut filets.
  2. Season with chili powder and cover.
  3. Cook approximately 10 minutes or until halibut is cooked thoroughly through and is white and flakey.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare your sauce by adding lemon juice, corn starch, Creole seasoning and half of the cilantro to a sauce pan.
  5. Mix well and heat about 2 minutes.
  6. Serve the sauce over the halibut and top with remaining cilantro.
