Habanero Rubbed Swordfish with Chili Sauce

This recipe is quite easy to prepare. We served ours with some quickly grilled asparagus, but any vegetable will easily accompany swordfish. Experiment and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • Two 6 oz swordfish steaks
  • 1 teaspoon habanero flakes (or chili pepper seasoning)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • crumbled feta
  • chili sauce
  • oil spray

Cooking Directions

  1. Lightly coat thawed swordfish steaks with oil spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine habanero flakes, garlic and bread crumbs.
  3. Dip swordfish steaks into bread crumb mixture, giving them a light coating.
  4. Transfer swordfish steaks to a lightly oiled baking dish.
  5. Baked at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until cooked through thoroughly.
  6. Serve topped with chili sauce and crumbed feta with your favorite vegetable.
