Grilled Pork Chops topped with Crabmeat

Crab meat makes for an outstanding stuffing and topping for grilled meats. Here is a simple crab topping mixture with butter, bread crumbs and seasonings to make your pork chops really stand out. This topping would work equally well on chicken or fish.
Ingredients
- 4 lean-cut pork chops (1 pound total)
- 6 ounces crab meat, cooked
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon powder
- black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
Cooking Directions
- Preheat grill to medium heat
- Brush pork chops with olive oil and sprinkle with a teaspoon of chili powder and black pepper to taste
- Grill pork chops 2 minutes and then flip
- Cook for another 1-2 minutes or until pork chops are thoroughly cooked through
- While pork chops are cooking, combine crab meat, butter 1 teaspoon of chili powder, black pepper to taste and lemon powder
- Mix well and heat over low heat until butter melts
- Stir in bread crumbs until topping becomes thickened
- Remove pork chops from heat
- Spoon crab mixture over pork chops
- Serve
