Crab Recipes Garlic Crab Artichoke Dip

This is a very popular party favorite. I can't remember the last family gathering without a delicious crab dip. Here is a basic recipe that you use to build on.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounceds crab meat (1 can, drained)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 ounce powdered soup mix (try a garlic and mushroom soup mix)
  • 14 ounce can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Swiss works great)

Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large baking dish, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, soup mix, artichoke hearts, cheese and crab meat. Mix well.
  3. Bake uncovered 30 minutes.
  4. Serve!
