Butter Glazed Salmon with Avocado
The butter in this recipe compliments the natural oils in the salmon, which is why we also chose avocado to top our meal with. The avocado is a thick, heavy fruit and the flavors mix well.
Ingredients
- 2 8 ounce cuts of salmon
- 1 sliced avocado
- 1 ounce butter
- Cajun seasonings to taste
Cooking Directions
- Season salmon with Cajun seasonings.
- Pan fry salmon over a lightly oiled pan at medium heat, about 3-5 minutes each side, or until cooked through and pink in the middle.
- The last 30 seconds of cooking, melt 1/2 ounce butter over each cut of salmon.
- Transfer salmon to a plate and top with 1/2 the sliced avocado each.
- Serve with veggies on the side!
