Lobster Recipes Broiled Lobster Tails

Broiling lobster tails, like steaming, is very easy and quick. Lobster is so delicious, there's no reason to complicate things. You can vary up the types of seasonings you use, but also consider varying up the dips. You don't always have to dip your lobster in butter. Try a sweet plum sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 (6 ounce) lobster tails
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat your oven's broiler.
  2. Cut open the lobster shells lengthwise down the back.
  3. Brush the exposed meat with olive oil and sprinkle with your seasonings.
  4. Place on a broiler pan with the meat facing upwards.
  5. Broil the tails about 6 inches from the flame until they are opaque and very slightly browned, about 8-10 minutes.
